Logo & Branding

Shreeta Salon, Logo and Branding (2024)

For this project, I developed a complete logo and visual identity for a salon based in Stevensville, MI. The client came with initial inspiration images and a rough color direction, but sought guidance in creating a cohesive, professional brand that reflected their personality and vision. 

I began by exploring the salon’s tone, voice, and core values translating those into visual elements that would resonate with their target audience. Throughout the process, I consulted the client on strategic design decisions, including color refinement, typography choices, and iconography, ensuring each element aligned with both their aesthetic preferences and practical needs such as visibility and search results.

The final logo features a clean, minimal design with a clear visual hierarchy, allowing potential customers to immediately understand the nature of the business at a glance. This simplicity enhances brand recognition across signage, packaging, social media, and digital platforms.

By blending thoughtful consultation with strategic design, I created a brand identity that’s not only visually appealing but also functional and scalable across platforms.

Poster Design

St. Joseph Public Library – Library Card Sign-Up Poster (2025)

I designed this promotional poster for the St. Joseph Public Library to increase library card sign-ups by visually emphasizing the wide range of activities accessible with a card. Using a grid-based, app-like layout, I highlighted key services such as book borrowing, digital media, community events, and more framing them as easily accessible “tiles” in a modern, intuitive design. 

A deliberate hole was cut in the center of the printed poster to represent a missing piece symbolizing the library card itself. This creative decision was intended to create a sense of incompleteness, subtly encouraging viewers to imagine the satisfaction of “filling the gap” by signing up for a card. 

The concept played on psychological cues to inspire action and curiosity.I used Adobe InDesign for layout and Adobe Illustrator for the visual elements and icons. The final design successfully merged form and function acting as both an informational display and an interactive prompt to boost engagement with the library’s resources.

Ad & Coupon Design – Freelance Work with Ad Agency (2023)

As a freelance designer collaborating with a fast-paced ad agency, I was tasked with creating high-impact ads and coupons under tight production schedules and strict brand guidelines. The challenge: conveying large amounts of information within limited space while maintaining brand consistency, clarity, and visual appeal.

Working within constraints such as predetermined fonts, photo assets, and tight layout dimensions, I leaned into creativity to find smart, efficient design solutions. My focus was on establishing a clean visual hierarchy that guided the viewer’s eye, prioritized legibility, and ensured that key messages stood out even at a glance.

I tailored each design based on ad size, platform, and expected audience behavior optimizing for quick readability and effective communication. Whether for print or digital formats, I made strategic choices around type scale, spacing, imagery, and layout flow to help users absorb essential information in seconds without being overwhelmed.

This project sharpened my ability to work quickly, think critically, and design with both function and aesthetics in mind skills I continue to bring to every project I take on.

Photography & Content Marketing

Luminous Moon - Photography & Content Marketing Strategy (2024-Present)

For this project, I am currently working with a jewelry business to provide professional product photography, content planning, and strategic marketing support. Using my DSLR camera in a studio setting, I capture high-quality images that highlight the craftsmanship and elegance of each piece. Each photoshoot is carefully themed based on the gem or material, reinforcing the brand’s story and aesthetic.

In addition to the visual direction, I work closely with the client to define her brand personality and develop a content strategy for social media and art market outreach. By aligning the visual tone with her target audience, we are creating posts and campaigns that helped increase discoverability, engagement, and customer inquiries across platforms.

I also offered brand consultation services, helping the client refine her messaging, positioning, and selling approach across different channels from online sales to in-person art markets. Through this collaboration, she gained tools to attract and track new customers more effectively while building stronger, lasting relationships with her audience.  

This project demonstrates my ability to combine creative direction with marketing strategy delivering both visual assets and actionable growth tactics that support small business success.

Website Design & Digital Strategy – Guest House in India (2025)

I designed a modern, user-friendly website for a guest house in India, with a focus on enhancing bookings and improving their online presence. Guided by the company’s brand identity, I used approved fonts and a minimalist layout to draw attention to the visual appeal of the property. The clean design allows the photographs to shine while creating a calm and intuitive user experience.

Understanding the needs of their target audience, I integrated interactive features to help users explore amenities, check availability, and plan their visit with ease. I tested the site thoroughly to ensure smooth navigation and responsive performance across devices.

Beyond the design, I provided the client with a digital positioning strategy tailored to increase discoverability and drive direct bookings.  As a result, the guest house has seen an increase in bookings within three months of the site launch.

This project showcases my ability to blend thoughtful design with strategic digital marketing to create measurable results for hospitality businesses.

Social Media Marketing

Social Media & Ad Strategy – Heritage Weaves (2025)

I’m currently working remotely with a traditional saree business based in Maharashtra to elevate their digital presence through strategic social media marketing and advertising. My work began with a full audit of their existing social media channels, followed by audience behavior research and competitive analysis to better understand their market positioning.

I’m actively optimizing their social media profiles using keyword research and trend analysis to improve search visibility and relevance. With a focus on engaging their core demographic rooted in cultural values and evolving fashion preferences I’m developing custom graphics and content tailored to spark interaction, drive traffic, and build community.

In addition to managing their content strategy, I recently designed and launched their new website to reflect the elegance of their brand and support a seamless customer journey. All digital efforts are aligned to guide users from social platforms to the website, boosting both engagement and conversions.

This project highlights my ability to integrate content, design, and strategy to help culturally rooted businesses thrive in the digital space.
